Text Box: My niece Karen Alletto Hernandez has been taking full advantage of Huntington Harbor which is a stones throw from her home. Her and Hubby Eric have been pretty outdoorsy the past couple of months. Pretty soon I think Karen will be ready for camping, bugs and all.
Text Box: For almost the entire month of July we had our family staying with us up until July 30th. It started with my sister Angela coming in with my niece Lisa and her three kids. After a week while they were here, My niece Lori and her husband Vince and their four kids arrived. Within two days from Lori’s landing my brother-in-law Bob arrived. Everyone was from Virgiinia. There we were, 16 of us scrambling for a piece of floor to sleep on. The big challenge was to keep everyone entertained and of course fed. It really wasn’t too hard to keep the kids happy. Just by us being together we usually have a great time. Our little Pug, Butch, was bouncing around and entertaining Text Box: everyone. During the couple of weeks other family and friends stopped by to visit and take part in the festivities. While my sister and I spent the most time together with mom, the kids were entertained by going to the amusement park, swimming and the Las Vegas style arcade known as Dave and Busters. They were even treated by our long time family friend Lenny, to a night of killing zombies. On July 22nd the entire crew was on the road to going home.
After a two day break my great nephew Tommy from Florida and his girlfriend Stacy arrived and stayed with us until the 30th. We had a great time with everyone. And even though it seemed like an eternity when they were all here, it also went so fast. Can’t wait till we do it again.
